Here’s a shout out to Anderson Dragline, a SharpeSoft client since 2008 and a recognized leader in heavy civil construction throughout central and northern California.
The company first opened its doors in 1972 offering dragline services in and around Gridley, CA. However, they have since grown to include general construction, mass grading and excavation to their repertoire of services. They have completed projects for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Caltrans, California Department of Parks and Recreation and for various cities and counties.
Their dedication to delivering projects safely, professionally and on time has earned them a reputation for complete customer satisfaction. Moreover, they strive to maintain collaborative
relationships with their clients, using timely communication strategies so that all parties involved are informed, from planning to completion.
One of the projects the company takes particular pride in is the restoration of the Salt River Ranch tidal marsh in California’s Humboldt County. Anderson worked closely with the county resource conservation district and Ducks Unlimited to create approximately 200 acres of tidal marshes while increasing river capacity and reducing flood risk to neighboring properties. The work required extensive daily coordination with avian and fisheries biologists who ensured that the area’s native species remain unharmed.
The company also completed a $4,000,000 million project that repaired four eroded levee sites, installed irrigation systems, and provided habitat reclamation for aquatic life along the Sacramento and Feather rivers. When archeological remains of a Native American burial site
were discovered, the company worked with government archeologists and tribal leaders to cover the site in accordance with traditional customs.
SharpeSoft is proud to have been part of the Anderson Dragline success story, and we look forward to working with them in the years to come.
