It's simple and easy to copy entire jobs inside the SharpeSoft Estimator. Whether you want a backup on hand at all times for quick edits, or you want to bid out potential changes in the project down the road, SharpeSoft has you covered.
Copying an Entire Job
Open the Jobs list by clicking on Setup Jobs on the toolbar. You can also use the hotkey Ctrl+J.
Double-click on the job you want to copy in order to activate it.
Make note of bid items, markup percentages, or other values in the job that are of high importance to you when copying the job. All of these items from the original job will be copied to the new job in full.
Highlight your activated job. The job we are going to be copying is the Sample 12" Water Job.
The Copy/duplicate selected job button will appear on the toolbar.
A popup message will appear asking if you want to copy the job.
Select Yes.
Now create a new Job Number for the copied job.
Press OK.
Your copied job will appear in the Jobs list, ready to go.
