One of our many goals at Sharpesoft is to provide you with simple to use customization resources that keep your business organized. In the Estimator, we help you do this by making it quick and easy to adjust indirect overhead costs on equipment.

Tip and Trick: "Dashboards for Estimator," was created with efficiency and clarity in mind. You can add as many widgets to your Summary as there are available. The presentation of your widgets is also simple to customize for all fields. Widgets can be reordered by dragging them around the display screen, as well as re-sized by pinching and expanding them as you want.

To pin widgets to your Summary, right-click on the selected widget and choose 'Add to Summary' from the drop-down menu. Your widgets will now be displayed in your Summary in descending order from how you chose them.

Functionality and Customization Guaranteed

Dashboards contains several widget tools designed to streamline current job information in an easily identifiable visual format. These widgets can be activated by either double-clicking or right-clicking and selecting 'Show' at the prompt. This will display the information within its appropriate header. Dashboards has four sub-menus, Summary, Active Job, Active Company, and All Companies. To detach a widget from the Summary or otherwise hide the information, right-click the widget again and click 'Hide'.

The dashboard will initially be blank, without any of the widgets activated. The above is an example of what the summary page would look like with each blank widget pinned. You can either make each widget visible on its respective page, or pin them to the summary.

To access any of the below configuration windows, single-click inside the associated table. These configuration windows are where you will actually determine what information the widget tables will display.

Jobs by Estimator

The Jobs Won by Estimator widget displays your current job's bid status clearly in the form of a graph.

Job Bid Date can be displayed as either by Month, Year, Quarter, or Custom parameters.

Show Data Label as Percent will display the number of jobs you've won as a percentage. If this box is not checked, jobs will instead be displayed by approximate numbers.

Won Method is determined by which of the two methods is chosen to indicate how a job was won. Job Status relates directly to the table of options below, where you can mark as many selections as you need. Bid Results refers to the window of the same name found under Job Summary. Any job with a bid position of "1" will be considered a job that you have won as far as the dashboards are concerned.

Jobs by Estimator ($)

The Jobs Won by Estimator ($) widget displays your current job's bid status clearly in the form of a graph. The dollar amount displayed is calculated by summarizing the total rounded price of the activated job.
