Listing each quote appropriately with its bid item package is vital to maintaining focus on what's necessary for the job, saving you money in the long run by avoiding costly mistakes. Using this tip and trick, you can add as many items to the subcontractor comparison sheet as you need!

Adding Items to Subcontractor Comparison: How To


  • Open the Job Bid Items window by either clicking on the icon on the toolbar, or select Bid Items from the Job drop-down menu.

  • In the example below you will see that this job already has a sub-contractor comparison package for manholes.


  • Clicking on the Subcontractor Comparison icon in the toolbar will open the Subcontractor Comparison Packages window.


  • Double-click on the subcontractor package to drill into the Subcontractor Comparison Package Detail window.

  • To add a new item to the comparison, click on the Insert button as shown below.


  • This will open up the Select Bid Items window. You may need to expand items in the left-most column in order to show all of your bid items.

  • Click on the item you want to add, then press the space bar to get it ready for loading (this will highlight it as a light blue color). Press Select to continue.


  • The item(s) will now be loaded into the subcontractor comparison
